It's Super Scientific
With more than 60,000 supplements on the market[1], it’s hard to know if the ones you’re taking are helping you be as healthy as possible. That’s why we created our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula. This super-potent formula draws from hundreds of scientific studies exploring the relationship between nutrition, health and disease. Nearly a decade in the making, this revolutionary product has been carefully formulated to include precise amounts of all the micronutrients necessary to optimize your health and minimize the risk of common diseases.
It's Super Complete and Contains the Micronutrients You Need Each Day
This super-scientific and super-potent formula contains all the micronutrients your cells require to perform thousands of complex functions each day. Micronutrients include vitamins, minerals and other life-sustaining compounds like omega-3 oils. Our bodies urgently need several micronutrients, and when they’re taken at the correct dosage, they can reduce chronic inflammation and oxidative stress[2]; they can also improve gut health, thyroid function and metabolism. Taking the right supplements can also improve energy levels and cognitive function[3,4,5,6], and reduce the risk of many common diseases[7].
Absorption, Bioavailability, Frequency, Completeness and Dosage
Getting micronutrients where they’re needed—into every cell in your body—is a surprisingly complex process. For your cells to efficiently absorb micronutrients from the foods and supplements you consume daily, many things must happen just right. Our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula considers these factors, which are vital to providing for your health.
These Factors Include:
Absorption—micronutrients must be in a form that’s easily absorbed from the digestive tract
Bioavailability—micronutrients must be in a form that the cells can easily assimilate and utilize
Multiple Doses—nutrients must be consumed throughout the day, not just in one large dose
Dose/Amount—you must supply your cells with ample amounts of the vital nutrients they require
Complete Formula—your cells must be provided with all the micronutrients they require each day
Absorption
Many micronutrients, such as vitamin B1 and magnesium, are poorly absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract. This means that only a small amount of them pass from the gut into the bloodstream. Nutrients with limited absorbability need to be taken in larger amounts, and it’s imperative to supplement with the most bioavailable forms of these difficult-to-absorb micronutrients. Our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula uses only the most absorbable micronutrients, and contains more of these nutrients to ensure that ample amounts are delivered to the cells.
Bioavailability
Once micronutrients assimilate from the gut into the blood, they must be delivered to each and every cell in the body. Importantly, however, just as many micronutrients are poorly absorbed from the digestive tract, many are poorly assimilated by the cells. There are many reasons why the cells have difficulty assimilating micronutrients, and we’ll briefly review them here.
Many Micronutrients Are Quickly Eliminated From the Blood
Many micronutrients that enter the blood are quickly degraded by the liver and filtered out by the kidneys. This is especially true of the water-soluble B and C vitamins. In fact, about 50% of water-soluble vitamins are flushed from the blood in about 30 minutes. This doesn’t give the cells much of a chance to absorb these crucial nutrients before they’re eliminated from the body, even when consumed in substantial doses.
Micronutrients and Membrane Transporters
Some micronutrients are easily absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and readily pass into the blood. However, many micronutrients aren’t easily assimilated, even in large doses. It seems counterintuitive, but taking some micronutrients in large doses can actually interfere with their absorption from the gastrointestinal tract.
This is because many nutrients compete for the same membrane transporters. So, for example, if you take a large dose of vitamins and minerals, those with the greatest ability to bind with membrane transporters will be absorbed into the blood. However, micronutrients with lower binding affinities will have difficulty attaching to membrane transporters, resulting in reduced absorption. As a result, a sizable portion of these crucial nutrients may be excreted from the body, even when taken in large amounts—sometimes because they’re taken in large doses. This is just one example of how we can take megadoses of vitamins and minerals, but not get them where they need to go, which is in the cells.
Micronutrients Must Be in Bioavailable Form
The micronutrients absorbed into the bloodstream must be in a form that's bioavailable to be assimilated and utilized by the cells. It is a surprise, but many premium supplement products contain ingredients with poor bioavailability that the cells can’t absorb. Common examples of micronutrients with poor bioavailability include zinc, magnesium, and vitamins B1, B6, B9, B12 and K2.
Super Empowered Supplements uses only the most bioavailable ingredients, helping your cells absorb and utilize the micronutrients they need to thrive. Our wellness and vitality company creates life-changing supplements to help you optimize your life and health. We don’t cut corners; we help people turn corners.
Competitive Inhibition of Micronutrients
As we learned, vitamins, minerals and other micronutrients, such as omega-3 oils, bind to membrane transporters that carry them from the gut to the blood. To pass into the bloodstream, micronutrients must unbind from membrane transporters, and bind to serum transporters, which in turn carry them to every cell in the body. Notably, some micronutrients have their own membrane and serum transporters, while others rely on shared transporters.
For example, vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid), vitamin B7 (biotin), alpha lipoic acid (ALA) and iodide are all transported from the gut to the bloodstream via the sodium-dependent multivitamin transporter (SMVT). This is an example of a shared transporter. It’s noteworthy that humans are unable to create vitamins B5 (pantothenic acid) and B7 (biotin), but do produce alpha lipoic acid (ALA). Numerous studies demonstrate that deficiencies in vitamins B5 and B7 are common, and pose serious health risks to humans[8,9,10,11].
To maximize the delivery of vitamins B5 and B7 to the cells, we chose not to include alpha-lipoic acid (ALA) in our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula. While ALA receives significant media attention for its antioxidant properties, ensuring that the cells receive optimal amounts of the essential micronutrients B5 and B7 is far more critical. This is just one example of how science guides every step we take at Super Empowered Supplements, including the decision not to include a very popular micronutrient in our formula. However, we do sell ALA as a stand-alone product, and suggest that it be taken separately from our All-In-One Formula to minimize the competitive inhibition of micronutrients.
Multiple Doses/Frequency
Taking supplements in multiple doses throughout the day is necessary to give your cells every opportunity to absorb an abundance of the micronutrients they require. Many micronutrients are cleared from the blood long before the cells are able to take in enough of them, but when supplements are taken in several doses throughout the day, your cells can absorb far more of the needed micronutrients.
Additionally, taking supplements in multiple doses is much easier on your body than taking them in one large dose. Flooding the body with megadoses of micronutrients strains the gut and immune system. It also floods the bloodstream with micronutrients that the liver and kidneys will quickly eliminate from the body to maintain blood homeostasis. Furthermore, large doses require every cell in the body to quickly absorb vast numbers of micronutrients in a short period, which takes significant energy. Dealing with megadoses of micronutrients requires so much energy that it can leave you feeling drained of the very thing you always need more of: energy.
The importance of taking supplements in multiple doses cannot be overemphasized. While megadoses of micronutrients are common, they are not the ideal way to provide your cells with the health-sustaining micronutrients they require. Smaller doses minimize the competitive inhibition of nutrients, reduce the strain on the gut and immune systems, and make it easier for the cells to absorb ample amounts of the nutrients they depend on.
Optimized Micronutrient Dosage: The Right Amount of Everything You Need
When it comes to micronutrients, getting the dosage just right is paramount. Supplementing with too little of this or too much of that can make the difference between lasting health on one hand, and puzzling health issues on the other. Some micronutrients need to be consumed in tiny amounts, others in modest amounts, and others in much larger quantities to generate lasting health benefits. That’s why we’ve spent years scouring the scientific literature to determine the optimal dosage of each micronutrient you need daily.
Two Products in One Ensures Maximum B12 Bioavailability
Our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula is two products in one: our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula and our Super Sublingual Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12 is poorly absorbed in the human gastrointestinal tract, but absorbs quickly when placed beneath the tongue. To ensure maximum absorption of this critically important nutrient, we send you two products each month: a package of Super All-In-One Supplement Formula and a package of Super Sublingual Vitamin B12.
Our Super Sublingual Vitamin B12 is unlike any other B12 products sold. It consists of 10,000 micrograms of pure methylcobalamin (the most bioavailable form of vitamin B12), quercetin, acerola and organic lemon juice powder. That’s it. There are no fillers, added ingredients, preservatives or unwanted chemicals. Quercetin, acerola and lemon juice powder are chock full of flavonoids, which are plant-derived compounds with many health benefits[12]. Numerous studies associate powerful health benefits with large doses of methylcobalamin and also demonstrate that it’s safe for everyday use. Our Super Sublingual Vitamin B12 powder has a light, pleasing taste, and quickly dissolves beneath your tongue.
Our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula is Super Complete
Our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula contains all the core micronutrients you require each day. It’s not necessary to purchase a cache of individual supplements, because our super-potent and super-convenient formula is specifically designed to provide you with what you need, all in one place. Getting all the micronutrients you need in one place is super convenient, and super cost-effective, too.
You Need More Micronutrients Than Will Fit Into One Capsule
“Micro” means small, but it takes far more micronutrients than what can be shoehorned into one capsule to saturate your cells with the nutrients they need each day. A lot more than one capsule. As a matter of fact, it takes 10 capsules of our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula to provide you with all the micronutrients your cells require to regenerate, heal and function optimally—and that’s without any fillers or unwanted ingredients that many supplements contain.
Think about it for a moment. Does it make sense that all the micronutrients you require to experience optimal health and minimize the risk of diseases can be shoehorned into one capsule? Of course it doesn’t, which is why Super Empowered Supplements broke the mold and created an entirely new paradigm for supplementation.
It’s Time to Rethink What You Believe About Supplements and Nutrition
If you’re still thinking, “Sure, but that’s a lot of capsules to take each day,” it’s time to re-evaluate your beliefs about supplements, nutrition and health. We’ve been lulled into believing that taking a multivitamin pill will provide us with all the micronutrients we need, but that’s never been the case. It takes far more micronutrients to safeguard your health than what can fit into one or even a few capsules. In fact, several of the ingredients in our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula fill up more than one capsule all by themselves. Some fill up two and even three capsules!
The reality is that humans require a considerable amount of micronutrients each and every day to experience lasting, optimal health. It’s time to rethink everything we believe about supplements, because the way we’ve been going about supplementation isn’t providing us with the vital nutrients we require, and our health suffers as a result.
Even though supplements have been around for decades, it’s not easy to find products that provide the correct dosage of a complete range of the fresh, potent and bioavailable micronutrients you require daily, all in one place. That’s why we went back to the drawing board and redefined what it means to take supplements.
We created a product that provides everything you need to optimize your micronutrient intake, helping you optimize your health and reduce the risk of many common diseases. Can a capsule that weighs a few grams provide all the cells in your body with all the micronutrients they need each day? It bears repeating: Super Empowered Supplements isn’t just another supplement company. We’re new, we’re different, we’re super scientific, we’re spirited, and we’re dedicated to changing the way that the world takes supplements.
Our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula is Super Fresh
Individual micronutrients retain potency when stored away from light, heat, oxygen and moisture. However, when micronutrients are combined to create multivitamins, some of the nutrients can be damaged by nutrient-nutrient interactions. The longer micronutrients are combined in pills and capsules, the weaker they become.
To ensure that our products are of the utmost freshness and highest quality, we store our ingredients properly and mix our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula in small batches every week. This takes a lot of time but dramatically enhances the freshness of each batch of supplements we ship. At Super Empowered Supplements, we prioritize freshness, purity, and your health over production and profits. We're much more than just another supplement company. We’re a wellness and vitality company that creates fresh, super-premium wellness-enhancing products.
Our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula is high in vitamins C and E, potent antioxidants that minimize the damaging effects of nutrient interactions. We ship our Super All-In-One Supplement Formula in one-month batches to further guarantee freshness. This keeps nutrient losses to a minimum, and allows us to provide you with super-fresh and super-potent micronutrients. Finally, our supplements are kept refrigerated until they’re shipped to your door. To ensure maximum freshness, please keep your supplements refrigerated.
